Navigating Your Child’s Anxiety

Anxiety in children is common, but it can make parenting more challenging. With the right approach, parents can provide the support and understanding their children need to navigate their feelings. Here are some strategies to help parents who have anxious kids:

Avoid Immediate Reactions

Avoid reacting impulsively or impatiently to your child's disclosures, as this may intensify their anxiety. Instead, remain calm and take a moment to process their words before responding. This thoughtful approach helps your child feel that their emotions are being taken seriously.
